JOB DESCRIPTION:Applications are invited for a full-time faculty position as an Academic Nephrologist in the department of medicine, division of nephrology and hypertension at University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston. We are seeking an outstanding board-certified/board eligible Nephrologist to join a vigorous academic program directed toward the diagnosis and care of patients with kidney diseases, and hypertension. The successful applicant will join a growing team within the division of Nephrology, which has 10 clinical & 4 research faculty members, 5 advanced providers as well as 5 fellows in training. Division is actively involved in research, education and training of residents and medical students. The division oversees the comprehensive spectrum of kidney, hypertension and transplant care at UTMB campuses, satellite clinics, and also provides end stage kidney disease care at affiliate dialysis units.
