N-Step Dance Academy is Hiring a Director of First Impressions Near Suwanee, GA

Overview: We are a thriving dance studio located in Suwanee, GA. Our studio is dedicated to providing exceptional dance education, fostering a love for dance and a sense of community among our students. Position: Director Of First Impressions (Dofi)

Responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):

Key Responsibilities:

The DOFI is responsible for being an ambassador of the studio and along with the owner should embody the culture of the studio so that each student and parent that comes into the studio will feel a part of the community! This person should communicate effectively, and understand and portray the important messaging that the owner wants everyone to know.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Stewardship- Every faculty member’s #1 responsibility is stewardship to the NSDA Way.
  • To conduct yourself so that supervisors and coworkers can depend on your work.
  • To maintain a safe environment at all times for all concerned.
  • To build fierce loyalty among current students and to drive new students to the studio.
  • To be flexible in your schedule and willing to help coworkers.
  • To learn continuously and move steadily and consistently toward “expert status” in your job duties.
  • To help your supervisors and peers fulfill their responsibilities and to conduct yourself in a manner that makes their jobs enjoyable and rewarding.
  • Be able to navigate our software system with confidence
  • CC pertinent staff on information emails
  • Send daily nightcaps to the admin team
  • Responsible for dancer’s costume fittings, organization, and distribution
  • Maintaining the facility and communicating any maintenance issues
  • Daily interactions with customers and answering questions
  • Giving tours of the facility
  • Registering new students
  • Answering phones
  • Music system troubleshooting
  • Keeping facility tidy & professional
  • Daily studio checks
  • Inventory
  • Opening and closing duties

Key Priorities:

  • Be the face of the studio to our growing 250 family client base; build relationships with all clients; and be a major contributor to our clients’ positive experience with the studio.
  • Learn all dancers names and which parents they belong to
  • Prioritize in person communication over phone or other admin work
  • Make every person who walks through the door feel welcome and loved
  • Completing designated steps of the enrollment process
  • Handling last minute substitute teachers or combining classes

Requirements:

  • Passion for people and a genuine interest of administrative work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • An energetic, creative, and passionate individual
  • Good organization
