Job description

• Proven, hands on development background, utilizing an C#, Kafka and the general Microsoft stack, including strong, practical Azure experience
• Real-world experience of delivering using Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD 
• Multi-year, real world (‘hands on’) experience of agile, including Scrum and Kanban and the real-world application from prioritization through to delivery
• Experience of the design and implementation of: 
  • Service/Micro-Service architectures, 
  • Event-based architectures, 
  • loosely coupled systems and re-usable components, system and enterprise architecture.
• Clear experience, over a number of years, in a trading-based organization (hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank) – with knowledge of financial instruments and terminology
• Wide-reaching interest and knowledge of technology and its practical use, including legacy languages and patterns, and current/future state languages, technologies and patterns
• Minimum Batchelor’s degree in Computer Science or a numerical/science based discipline
