myPlace Health is Hiring a Marketing, Senior Manager or Director Near Los Angeles, CA

About myPlace Health

myPlace Health was founded in 2021 by mission-aligned healthcare leaders and organizations that are committed to drastically improving health outcomes, quality and experience for vulnerable older adults and frail seniors. We specialize in providing value-based, comprehensive care and coverage for older adults with significant needs so they can thrive in the homes they love and in the communities they cherish.

Our mission is simple: to enable older adults to live the independent lives they deserve. We pursue this mission through our myPlace PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model, which provides seamless primary care, integrated health plan coverage, personalized social engagement, and customized services delivered in the participant’s preferred place.

myPlace Health is building a mission-driven team that shares our passion for redefining the way older adults experience care as they “age in place” in the community. This is a unique opportunity to take on one of our country’s most challenging healthcare problems and join a fast-growing, dynamic team as we prepare to scale our mission to serve more markets.

About this Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic, mission-driven marketing maven to establish and grow our company’s brand and presence. This leader will be responsible for developing and optimizing our overall marketing strategy, developing our marketing and branding assets, and crafting a consistent message that instills trust in our target audience of frail and disabled older adults. This teammate will manage our marketing partners to ensure successful and timely execution, oversee our full marketing library, and manage regulatory processes for marketing with government agencies (e.g., CMS). Additionally, this individual will be instrumental in developing new multi-channel marketing campaigns and driving engagement with our key audiences – all in support of our effort to redefine the way older adults experience care as they age in place in their homes and communities.

The final level for this role will be Senior Manager or Director, dependent on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and competencies.

  • Manage social media accounts and message creation (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, others).
  • Develop culturally appropriate messages and adapt our marketing assets in ways that resonate with the diverse communities we serve.
  • Partner with and oversee relationships with external partners and vendors to drive creative design, production, and syndication of our brand message.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities in the community, build relationships with key strategic partners (including our health plan sponsors), and coordinate campaigns with those partners.
  • Support the Growth & Outreach Team by listening to their marketing needs and also in promoting, coordinating, and managing community events.
  • Partner with the Growth & Outreach Team to analyze critical sales data (e.g., conversation ratio, sales cycle, lead sources, sales activity, sales events, etc.) and derive actionable insights on how we can improve our marketing strategies.
  • Support the People Team in its efforts to develop tools that facilitate powerful messaging and materials designed to source and attract top tier talent for myPlace Health.

  • Relevant marketing experience including campaign strategy/development, messaging, multi-channel marketing (e.g., outside, digital, social media), management of external creatives (e.g., agencies, freelancers), event coordination, and consumer persona development. Senior Manager candidates will generally require 5 years of marketing experience, and 3 years managing others.
