Service Advisor Job Description
The Service/Shop Advisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all customer's trucks and equipment.
The duties related to this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Manages and coordinates repairs with the technicians and oversees service advisors of the shop.
- Supervises the sales team to ensure all repairs are transparent with the customers and to ensure a good customer experience when visiting our business.
- Monitor all shop duties and needs of the building.
- Maintaining and controlling shop parts and inventory.
- Responsible for leading and assigning tasks to shop mechanics to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize company costs, as well as, asset downtime.
Requirements:
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of shop/ service writing with a strong knowledge base of heavy highway equipment.
- Must have problem-solving skills and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must possess strong management skills.

Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.
- Every other Saturday 8am to 12pm.
