MyKelly is Hiring a Cnc operator Near Mentor, OH

Kelly has partnered with a premiere client in Mentor, Ohio and seeking CNC Operators!

2nd shift : 2pm to 10 : 30pm $21 per hour

3rd shift : 10pm to 6 : 30am $22 per hour

Position Responsibilities and Objectives include but are not limited to :

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and running robotically tended CNC machining centers while manufacturing quality parts in a timely manner.

This individual measure manufactured parts with designated measuring instruments to verify parts are within specification to print.

Problem solving skills are required to identify root cause machine and part issues.

Functional Outline :

  • Able to run and hand load all robotically tended machines
  • Setup, hand load, change tools and toolsets
  • Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Use designated measuring techniques for each part family
  • Keep machinery and tooling in good working order,
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
  • Basic computer skills including MS office products
  • Communicate issues effectively to appropriate individuals
  • Learning to and / or able to read "G" code
  • Visual attention to detail to detect surface imperfections such as dings, dents, scratches, etc.
  • Ability to maintain focus while performing tedious, meticulous, repetitive-type deburring task

Minimum job requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Ability to perform deburring operations on multiple varieties of parts based on production needs
  • Must have experience running a CNC machine
  • Must have experience with Micrometers and Calipers for inspections.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred qualifications :

  • Previous experience working in a CNC machine or deburr role preferred
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Candidate must be able to communicate in English
  • Positive attitude and able to work as a team
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Detail oriented, responsible, with excellent organizational skills
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of manufacturing process and associated software
  • Able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Team player
