MyAdvice is Hiring a Remote Account Executive, Digital Marketing

Position Summary

MyAdvice is hiring true hunters/closers ready to break into the lucrative digital marketing sales industry by consulting with medical practitioners on our cutting edge, proprietary SaaS marketing platform. Account Executives are responsible for elevating MyAdvice by ultimately helping our clients grow through a robust online presence. This is an experienced sales position meaning you must be familiar with digital marketing and have robust closing and hunting experience. This is a high volume, outbound, hunter sales role where you’ll be expected to source new business from scratch while owning the full sales cycle. 

MyAdvice's Account Executives (AEs) will identify ideal client profiles, assess the practice’s unique online marketing needs then cater outreach to capitalize on selling a feature suite that maximizes value. AEs will accomplish this by exercising proven sales acumen to act as the authority on medical marketing concepts by utilizing their extensive MyAdvice product knowledge, excellent technical skills and strong understanding of industry trends. Successful AEs are skilled communicators and presenters who find the best fit between client and platform features. 

Our ideal candidate is one who works well under pressure, is highly self-motivated and easily initiates relaxed, yet informative, two-way conversations with prospects. They are coachable, adaptable, tenacious, excellent multitaskers and organized. The right candidate is able to convey potentially unfamiliar technical concepts to prospective clients in an easy-to-understand manner. They’re focused on enhancing the buyer experience and comfortable challenging prospects to ensure results. Product knowledge training and sales skills coaching is backed by a solid tech stack to prioritize your time on outreach and closing. While you’re expected to hunt your own leads, you'll also be supported by an in-house marketing team and dedicated lead generation specialist.

*This position can be remote, hybrid or in-office depending on candidate preference and location. MyAdvice has offices in Melville, New York and Lehi, Utah.

Essential Duties

  • Passionately present MyAdvice platform features to new prospects to generate new sales
  • Educate prospects through a consultative sales approach paired with a transactional close process
  • Grow business by calling on marketing leads and self-generating new prospects
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product and industry knowledge to articulate value to prospects
  • Hold yourself accountable to and carry a quota of net-new closed revenue
  • Maintain pipeline management through sales software 
  • Collaborate with others on the sales and marketing teams to ensure goal attainment
  • Relentlessly drive to achieve personal and company goals
  • Maintain a positive and resilient attitude
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Dedicated in-house marketing team providing inbound marketing leads
  • In-house lead generation specialist providing high quality, curated lead lists that meet company ICP
  • Sales skill development, custom coaching plan and training on industry best practices 

Required Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to negotiate, problem-solve, make decisions and act as the authority on MyAdvice’s platform of marketing features and services
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a deep understanding of sales processes
  • Well versed in CRM, presentation, video conferencing and other business software
  • Medical, dental or marketing sales experience (preferred)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of account executive, B2B sales, outside sales or territory sales experience
  • Must have a working knowledge of digital marketing concepts; minimum 2 years experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
  • Must have reliable internet, phone and a professional, quiet/private workplace
  • Legally authorized to hold employment within the United States 

Position Details 

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, typical business hours (early-out Fridays!)
    • For example: 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm with an hour lunch break
    • Flexible scheduling available per manager’s approval
    • Occasional after-hours work may be required depending on prospect’s availability 
  • Travel: May require occasional local or national travel (less than 5% of the time, if at all).
  • Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (90% at desk, 10% of time walking); Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and use typical office equipment (computers, keyboards, printer, etc.)
