**JOB SUMMARY**

The **Spectrum Retail Operations Sr. Manager,** is responsible for implementation of field-level execution of key strategic initiatives to support the achievement of wireless performance objectives, increase profitability, quality, and knowledge and revenue growth of mobile across assigned region. Launch wireless process innovations that result in enhanced delivery of a quality customer experience, increased knowledge of products/services and support the growth of the business. This positions key focus will be assisting the Director, Retail Sales Operations in implementing and executing the Retail Sales Mobile Strategy and operational processes.

**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Responsible for managing process of acquiring Exclusive Branded Partners, staff readiness and back of the house store operations, including inventory management for all wireless devices and accessories and the POS System.

Partners with Sr. Director, Mobile Strategy and Sr. Manager, Retail Operations to ensure alignment with the execution of wireless and BAU strategies and manage the coordination of continuous business process improvements to enhance the customer experience and achieve increased sales and revenue.

Develops, manages and communicates overall operational plans, strategies and matrix requirements to field leaders and monitors and evaluates results.

Partners with Director, Retail Strategy for Partners and Big Box and other cross-functional teams, including logistics and warehouse to implement mobile operations standards and ensure supporting tools, technologies and accessories are in place to enable employees to meet and exceed performance standards.

Ensures programs are in place to meet the mobile merchandising expectations at all stores within scope of responsibility.

Proactively and consistently evaluates mobile standards and policies against business results, employee and customer feedback. Implements best practices in process improvement programs.

Creates end-to-end operational plans. Assists in managing mobile project milestones and deliverables and change requests that support business goals in collaboration with store management. Develops and utilizes appropriate tools in support of project tracking.

Delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation and presentations as necessary to effectively communicate wireless strategies and tactics to team members and stakeholders in a transparent manner.

Participates in project post mortems and provides recommendations to identify areas of opportunities for future improvements.

Creates an environment of continuous learning and development where employees are able to enhance their skills in a wireless sales environment and maximize their potential through coaching, training and objective performance management.

Ensures all store employees within span of control are trained and manages strict enforcement of all company policies and procedures.

Performs other duties as requested by leadership.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

*Skills/Abilities and Knowledge* * Ability to read, write, speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, and suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.

* Experience as a Director, Sr. Manager or Manager in a destination shopping environment

* Experience in opening new retail stores

* In-depth understanding of wireless sales and strategy

* Proficiency in inventory and merchandising management

* Strong change management skills and techniques

* Knowledge of process and procedure design and documentation

* Incumbent will be expected to organize/prioritize work and manage multiple projects simultaneously

* Highly developed analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills, and ability to make qualitative judgments on training, education and development resources in all types and formats

* Ability to build strategic partnerships within all areas of the organization by exhibiting excellent interpersonal, leadership, influencing and presentation skills

* Able to articulate a passion for delivering a great customer experience during multiple roles in their career

* Competency in personal technology, such as mobile device and personal video platforms

* Knowledge and ability to use personal computers and software applications

**Education**

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Excellent knowledge of telecommunications products and services

* Leadership skills to function as a strategic business leader able to align with companys culture and values

* Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of retail store operations

* History of identifying market trends and risks, communicating those to their leaders and then working with strategic partners to develop response plans

**RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE**

**3-5 years:** Leadership experience

**3-5 years:** Wireless or telecommunications leadership experience

**3 years:** Project Management experience

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

Retail environment

Exposure to moderate noise levels

Travel to multiple locations to oversee and monitor store operations

Professional attire and appearance

Valid drivers license and ability to meet Charters motor vehicle requirements
