Front Desk Agent
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and courteously
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by following hotel procedures
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Skills:
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in handling cash transactions and operating a computerized reservation system
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
- Experience with night audit procedures is preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Professional phone etiquette with experience using phone systems
