Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Imaging Manager to oversee our CT imaging department. As a CT Imaging Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the imaging department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services to patients. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the imaging department
- Coordinate and schedule imaging procedures to ensure efficient workflow
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize departmental efficiency
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed
- Train and mentor staff on imaging techniques, safety protocols, and patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and results obtained
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various imaging modalities including sonography, mammography, X-ray, PET scan, CT, etc.
- Proficient in anatomy knowledge and physiology principles related to medical imaging
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Excellent technical skills in operating imaging equipment and software
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
