Reports To:: General Managers
Position Overview:: The Field Production Manager will focus on managing installations and punch out lists for all customers, including attending construction meetings as needed. The primary function of this position will be communicating with customer representatives (site supervisors, home owners, maintenance teams) and our internal staff to ensure amazing installations by walking jobs prior to and just after installation. Other functions included communicating with internal team and installers about punch items, ensuring that installers have what is needed for their job as well as picking up and delivering supplies as needed.
Responsibilities::

  • Installations Management:: Oversee and manage installations for various customers. This involves coordinating and ensuring the smooth execution of installation projects from start to finish.
  • Punch List Management:: Responsible for creating and managing punch out lists for all customers. Ensure that all items are addressed and resolved satisfactorily before project completion.
  • Customer Communication:: Interface with customer representatives such as site supervisors, homeowners, and maintenance teams. Maintain regular communication to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordination with Internal Staff:: Work closely with internal teams to facilitate smooth operations. This includes communicating job requirements, coordinating schedules, and ensuring everyone has the necessary information.
  • Site Visits:: Conduct site visits before and after installations to inspect work quality, address any immediate concerns, and ensure installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Supply Management:: Monitor and manage the availability of supplies required for installations. Coordinate with suppliers, ensure installers have necessary materials, and facilitate pick-ups and deliveries as needed.
  • Attendance at Construction Meetings:: Attend construction meetings when necessary to represent the company, gather relevant information, and ensure alignment between the project's progress and company objectives.
  • Problem Resolution:: Act as a point of contact for addressing any issues or discrepancies during installations, coordinating solutions promptly and efficiently.
  • Documentation:: Maintain accurate records of installation progress, punch items, supply inventory, and communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Quality Assurance:: Ensure that installations meet quality standards by implementing best practices, providing guidance to installers, and addressing any quality concerns promptly.
Requirements:
Candidates who possess a combination of these skills and have relevant experience in managing field operations, coordinating installations, and effectively communicating with both internal teams and customers would be well-suited for this role. Additionally, certifications or formal education in project management or construction-related fields could further enhance a candidate's qualifications.
  • Understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques to effectively communicate with installers and address technical aspects of installations.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the construction or related industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing field operations, installations, or similar responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret floorplans, selections, and specifications
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, manage timelines, allocate resources effectively, and ensure successful project completion.
  • High quality standards and confidence
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to call superintendents discuss concerns
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage schedules, coordinate resources, maintain documentation, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to manage logistics, including transporting supplies and equipment to job sites, and a valid driver's license.
Salary & Benefits:
