We are a global manufacturer of optical injection molded and coated component parts. We are looking for experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Lancaster, PA team! We need an individual interested in the fast pace of manufacturing, planning, directing, and coordinating quality assurance programs, lead the QA team, interact, build and maintain excellent customer relationships, and maintain certification compliance to ISO 9001.

Qualifications for the Quality Assurance Manager:

• Bachelor's Degree or Work Equivalent. Field of Study: Engineering, Management, Related Field
• 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Management environment (automotive and\or aerospace preferred)
• ASQ CQE preferred
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
• Knowledge of and working ability with computers, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Minitab, Internet, and QT9 a plus
• Must have very good understanding and experience with ISO 9001 or current standards to which Plaskolite MXL is certified

Essential Duties of the Quality Assurance Manager

• Manages QA lab and QA personnel
• Manages Audit Program to meet ISO 9001 requirements
• Coordinates QA calibration process; internal and external lab resources
• Manage Document Change Request (DCR) process.
• Utilize PFMEA process to assess risk and identify critical inspection and testing points in the manufacturing process to minimize risk.
• Creates, updates, and review QA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Quality Plans (QP).
• Create and submit First Article Inspection (FAI) reports utilizing AS9100 methodology (if necessary).
• Analyzes quality test results and provides feedback and interpretation to production and engineering. Utilize Minitab to monitor and trend process capability.
• Identifies quality problems or areas for improvement and assists a cross-functional team with identifying Root Cause (RCA)
• Coordinates the validation and certification of purchased raw materials and components to ensure they meet established testing and inspection standards.
• Generates and maintains QA operating budgets.
