We have an immediate need of an experienced Product Manager who will continue accelerating financial banking innovation into the market with fresh ideas and a founders mindset. A successful candidate will continuously work to solve poignant banking user problems and improve end user financial health. We are looking for someone we can trust, that will lead and execute based on facts and data and not emotions and anecdotes. Job Duties
  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and launch of innovative software products, specifically tailored for financial wellness, by collaborating with a highly skilled team. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting detailed requirements analysis, crafting comprehensive documentation, setting precise development timelines, evaluating user experience designs, ensuring the highest quality assurance standards, monitoring product performance metrics, and analyzing product usage data to inform future improvements.
  • Spearhead a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, software engineers, data scientists, QA engineers, and product marketers to develop and launch groundbreaking products that not only align with the MX mission but also address the unique needs of financial institutions in our B2B2C model.
  • Utilize your extensive experience in product management to innovate and develop cutting-edge solutions that significantly advance our product offerings beyond mere incremental updates, focusing on financial wellness platforms that empower financial institutions and their end-users.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the financial industry's landscape, engaging with a broad spectrum of companies within the sector to ensure our products meet diverse needs and set new industry standards for financial wellness.
  • Acquire a thorough knowledge of finance, including the nuances of different account and transaction types, as well as the methodologies for data enhancement, to elevate the end-user experience by providing insightful, personalized financial wellness tools.
  • Manage and leverage sensitive and impactful financial data to create meaningful changes in the end-users' financial health, ensuring data security and privacy are maintained at the highest standards.
  • Employ a data-driven approach to decision-making, carefully weighing the advantages and disadvantages of potential solutions to select the most effective path forward for product development.
  • Foster user empathy through rigorous research and usability testing sessions to deeply understand end-user needs, pain points, and preferences, thereby guiding product innovation that truly resonates with users.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, striving for simplicity and consistency in product design to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts through high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes, facilitating clear and productive discussions among stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a culture of open, constructive feedback within the team, valuing thoughtful critique from all members to refine and improve product concepts collaboratively.
Basic Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in the full software and product development lifecycle, with an understanding of the fundamentals of building successful SaaS products preferred
  • Excellent internal cross-team and external customer-facing communication skills
  • Expert-level knowledge of prioritizing complex problems
  • Self-starter attitude and the ability to own projects from concept to finish
Advanced Requirements
  • A background in Fintech or banking is a plus
  • Strong technical understanding of embeddable web / Mobile experiences
Work Environment
At MX, we utilize a hybrid work model, which allows us to attract top talent and increase impact through collaboration. Our team members enjoy a balance of remote work and in-office days. Travel expectations for remote employees is about 15%, and the company covers travel expenses for remote employees. Local employees will utilize in-office time on a weekly basis Tuesday through Thursday. Both local and remote employees can take advantage of our incredible office space with onsite perks like company-paid meals, onsite massage therapist, golf simulator, and meditation room to name a few.
Compensation
The expected earnings for this role could be comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions as applicable. The base salary is $113,500 to $136,000.
This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
