```Job Overview``` We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. ```Duties``` - Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger - Prepare and process payroll for employees - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards - Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions ```Experience``` - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) - Familiarity with financial report writing - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Knowledge of payroll processing procedures - Understanding of tax regulations and reporting requirements - Experience in governmental accounting is a plus If you are a meticulous individual with a passion for numbers and finance, we would love to hear from you.
