Job Title: Finance Associate, Musicow US

Your Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative, and results-oriented Finance Associate to join a revolutionary fintech music exchange company in the US. This position is for an associate that offers a unique opportunity for ambitious professionals seeking to play a meaningful role in our continued growth while gaining significant experience in music catalog and security token valuations. The Finance Associate will prepare valuations, write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements, prepare M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for security token offerings. Associates at Musicow act as the primary day-to-day leaders for analytical support, including the preparation of various presentations and documents such as pitch decks and management presentations, financial statement analysis and model development, valuation analysis, and industry research. We are also focused on hiring candidates with a passion for music and genuine potential and interest in advancement within our company.

As a Finance Associate at Musicow, you will be responsible for the following:

• Assist management with important financial decisions
• Developing industry, market sector, and company research and analysis
• Preparing company presentations and other client materials
• Developing financial and valuation models
• Interfacing with legal and the product team on a regular basis to assist in developing music valuations
• Coordinating with external lawyers to facilitate the issuance of music securities in accordance with Regulation A of the Securities Act.
• Conducting due diligence for the company’s music catalog acquisitions
• Managing transactions (valuations, private placements) and supporting senior finance and strategy team
• Act as a liaison between the US and Korean finance team

About You

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is required
• The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the product and justify certain financial recommendations
• A basic understanding of securities finance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail and analytically driven
• Exceptional work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative, and leadership potential
• One or more years of investment banking, securities trading, and/or asset management experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop rapport with existing and potential creators
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, and financial modeling
• Highly motivated, team player with the ability to learn in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Korean fluency is plus
