Munich Airport NJ LLC is Hiring a HR Administrator, Recruiting and Administration Near Newark, NJ
MAJOR FUNCTION: The HR Administrator, Recruiting and Administration will focus on the recruitment and onboarding efforts for the company, as well as the general administration and processes that keep the HR services available to all employees. This role will focus on recruiting both hourly and salaried employees inside the Terminal Operations as well as the Office. This position will report to the Human Resources Director and will back-up the HR Administrator, Payroll and Rewards for payroll processing. This position also manages scheduled and ad hoc reporting for the parent company, for statutory compliance, and as requested. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP The HR Administrator will report directly to the HR Director. QUALIFICATIONS:
Four (4) to six (6) years of prior HR experience.
Prior Recruiting experience, either as an internal (company) recruiter or with a recruiting agency, is preferred
Knowledge of HR laws and trends required
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or other related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
Strong organizational skills are REQUIRED
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality REQUIRED
Ability and willingness to perform under tight deadlines to ensure successful completion of all work assignments
Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite
Prior experience with JazzHR would be helpful but not required
Prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance
Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development

Process I-9 verification and record updates.
Initiate Background screening.
Prepare and send salary consent to parent company for new hires and promotions
Payroll
Back-up the Payroll function as needed
Review the When I Work shift schedules with Payroll
Other
Respond to employees’ inquiries
Support HR Director with additional projects as requested.
