Multifamily Select Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated individual join our maintenance team at a senior, high-rise apartment community in Columbia, SC. This position will:

· Organize and keep stock of supplies and equipment for maintenance.

· Walk and pick up grounds to ensure the grounds reflect our high standards.

· Maintain a workflow for maintenance requests.

· Prioritize work orders as assigned by Supervisor.

· Participate in ongoing education.

· Maintains property rules and guidelines.

· Work directly with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure they have the tools needed to complete tasks.

· Communicate effectively with Supervisor regarding move outs and move ins.

· Ensure all turns are satisfactory.

· Stay on task when directed by Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.

· Assist the Maintenance Supervisor onsite where needed and asked.

Required Education and Experience

• 1 years prior apartment maintenance experience needed.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills to interact with the team and residents.
• Strong organizational skills with practical decision-making abilities.
• Minimum High School degree or GED equivalent preferred
• RealPage, Onesite experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills are critical, including verbal and written.
• Must possess superior customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, propose workable solutions, and implement corrective actions in all situations.
• Able to influence effectively; gain support for new ideas and approaches across multiple stakeholders with varying agendas and shifting priorities
• Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• A strong strategic and business mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
