What you will be doing:
- Troubleshoots and performs all necessary repairs to properties.
- Completes plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical repairs efficiently.
- Installs new appliances in properties as needed.
- Ensures timely response to resident service orders.
- Assists in maintaining a clean and visually appealing property exterior.
- Complies with all OSHA regulations and health, safety, and environmental laws.
- Communicates effectively with residents and property managers about maintenance concerns or updates.
- Conducts routine inspections to identify potential issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of technical training in a maintenance- related experience.
- Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
- HVAC certification is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and complete tasks by required deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to learn and adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals and blueprints.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at a time.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to walk, reach, stretch, stoop, bend, and use hands and fingers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
