Multifab packaging. has supplied customers throughout the Pacific Northwest with protective packaging and safety equipment, packaging machinery, and industrial supplies since 1987. With branch locations in the Seattle, Spokane, Vancouver, and Boise areas, we meet the custom packaging needs of customers throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Alaska. Our people are passionate about serving customers. We guide clients through the confusing array of packaging material options and supply options to find just the right choice. Our products range from sheeting and strapping machinery, hand tools, strapping, sheeting, boxes, flexible packaging, containers and closures, industrial supplies, paper products, janitorial and sanitation supplies, and first aid and safety supplies to keep your products secure and protected and your workplace clean and safe.

Position Description:

In this role, as an Outside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for driving sales (new accounts), in an assigned area by visiting prospective customers to introduce new products and packages, drives sales in a fast-paced results-driven environment. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers based on their assigned territory. They must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales.

Products we distribute include:

  • Containers- Plastic and glass bottles, jars, pails, carafes, packers, etc.

Closures- Caps, lids, sprayers, fitments, etc.

  • Packaging- warehouse packaging, stretch film, poly films, boxes, tape, steel and poly strapping, lumber wrap, rigid packaging, plastic and glass bottles, jars and closures, equipment etc.Job Shift:
  • Mon- Fri (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans, both volume and profit, within assigned sales territory.
  • Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and maintaining effective agreements.
  • Has direct one-to-one communication with customers, both present and prospective.
  • Field promotion work and developing new accounts.
  • Demonstrates products and provides assistance in the best application of product.
  • Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
  • Analyzes records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.
  • Interprets accounts, trends, and records to management.
  • Responsible for closing the sales transaction.
  • Service accounts and manage relationship
  • Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
  • Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales.
  • Maintain customer records, using automated systems.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
  • Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications.
  • Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs
  • Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
  • Compute customer's installation or production costs and estimate savings from new services, products, or equipment.
  • Select or assist customers in selecting products based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Outside sales representatives should have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, communications, and/or any equivalent education that demonstrates expertise in customer engagement.
  • Having a well-developed phone presence and high comfort level in initiating conversations is essential to fulfilling the daily duties of an outside sales representative. Aside from a social and positive personality, outside sales representatives must be self-starters and proactive problem solvers, since not every day is the same and the workplace setting is constantly changing.

Salary Range:

The Target Pay Range for this position is $50,000. 00- $70,000.00 per year, plus commission. At Multifab, Inc. compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications.
