The RN functions independently when utilizing the nursing process for nursing care and health teaching in the maintenance and the promotion of health or prevention of illness and the support of a dignified death. The RN functions interdependently when executing a medical regimen under the direction of a physician. The RN is accountable and responsible for facilitating improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction. This position requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral and sociological sciences, and requires critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, which includes knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data. The RN collaborates with patients, patient families/significant others, physicians, patient care staff, management and community partners.Minimum Requirements:Two years of experience as a R.N.- in a clinic setting preferred Education/Licenses/Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hireCurrent WA state Registered Nurse licenseCPR CertificationAdvanced Life Support certification may be required after hire, depending on assigned clinic site Shift: Day Employment Type: Full-Time Regular
