We are looking for a Registered Nurse Resident Care Manager who is patient, tactful, organized, and genuinely interested in enriching the lives of seniors. Wage Range $51 - $53 per hour DOE! The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will: Have completion of a Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited school of nursing; Possess a current RN license in the state of Washington; (Required)Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers; Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment; Have the ability to plan, direct, and implement resident care program in a geriatric nursing environment; geriatric nursing experience desirable; Be capable of assessing resident’s status and communicate the appropriate plan of action; Have the ability to maintain a balance between resident’s safety needs and independent levels of functioning; Have the ability to document medical treatments and application of care professionally and evaluate effectiveness in the care plan; Share in the weekend on-call nurse manager rotation; Provide support to the licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants of the skilled nursing teamBe able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, moving equipment, and performing other related tasks; Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. or the equivalent of one-half of an adult (as in a two-person transfer); Must be able to cover the expanse of the campus to give residents care and treatment necessary; Must be able to explain clearly to potential residents, families, and employees the policies and procedures of the facility;
