Position Summary:
System Float Pool RN’s support MultiCare adult hospitals and Freestanding EDs filling a vital role taking assignments to provide coverage for leave of absences, sick calls or surges in census. The RN-Float Pool provides clinical nursing care to assigned patients, performing related assessments, procedures and treatments, evaluations, patient care plan development/revisions, and education to patient and/or family. The RN-Float puts the patient first and ensures that high quality care is given to assigned patients by following policies, clinical guidelines, safety systems such as medication scanning and bed alarm use, timely and accurate documentation, core measure compliance and serving as a patient advocate. The RN-Float makes providing an exceptional patient/family experience high priority. Emergency Room nurses will also be trained to cover the off campus ED’s.
Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Advanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
RN licensure issued by Washington State to practice professional nursing
Refer to CPR and ALS policy grid for requirements

N - Min: $15.74-Max: $93.00
