Position Description
Multiband Global is hiring energetic team members to be Splicers on our Fiber team in Texas. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to have a meaningful impact on customers and company results, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities
- Dig up the pre-located Coyote/Alligator Box/Buried Enclosure
- Ring Cut/Mid-Sheath cut the fiber
- Dress the Coyote and Label the buffer tubes based on instructions from 1Path team.
- Install an NIU on side of home
- Fusion splice fiber at the home and at the coyote (2 splices)
- Test fiber and document inside the NIU
- Install wall conduit and sweep at the NIU
Position Requirements
Successful candidates will have customer service orientation, strong communication skills, and have the ability to read fiber build-outs.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of smartphones and tablets and basic use of Google Forms
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, dig when appropriate and work on their knees for extended periods of time, and be able to work with basic tools like a shovel and splicer.
- Travel is required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, proof of residency, clean driving record, and drug screening
