Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Consultant. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of real estate administrative processes.
Duties:
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide detailed information about available units
- Assist prospective tenants with the application process, including collecting necessary documents and conducting background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages or necessary repairs
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Collaborate with property management team to ensure all units are properly maintained and in compliance with regulations
- Utilize property management software (e.g., OneSite) to maintain accurate records of tenant information, leases, and maintenance requests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in real estate administrative or property management roles preferred
- Strong knowledge of leasing practices and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and diplomacy
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service to tenants
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
