Responsible to conduct management and occupancy reviews no less than annually in accordance with HUD requirements, Handbook 4350.3, LIHTC Section 42 Regulations and any other regulatory programs that are set aside for the property.
Responsible to verify compliance with HUD regulations and requirements regarding occupancy issues and verify that correct documentation is contained in each resident file.
Responsible to notify Main Office of any potential fraud or potential violations of law identified during the reviews.
Responsible for providing progress and completion reports for reviews and audit status.
Responsible for monitoring implementation of corrective actions from file audits.
Assist property in correction of file violations, missing documentation, filing and file organization
Occasional hands-on recertification assistance to sites with collection of verification, recertification interviews and completion of certification in One-Site system
Maintain a thorough list of all MOR and third party file reviews dates and scores.
Assist Director in preparation of schedule of internal file audits and preparation for third party file reviews.
Maintain files of all regulatory and occupancy requirements for each property.
Assist property and Director of Compliance in all file, occupancy and regulatory tasks as requested by supervisor.
Reports to Director of Compliance, systems support and resident accounts.
Position is 50% traveling.
