Job Description:

Individual needed to support Assistant Controller and Corporate Controller with month end closing, reporting, audits, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and general accounting activities.

* Coordinate monthly financial close

* Examine transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy

* Record and maintain monthly journal entries

* Reconcile subledger accounts

* Audit preparation and coordination

* Ensure accounting policies, procedures and controls are followed in accordance with SOX

* Perform special projects to support the functions of the General Accounting operations as required

Experience/Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

* 2 years of related experience

* Good knowledge of accounting standards, practices and controls

* Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills

* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, experience with SAP desirable

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to multitask and meet critical deadlines successfully

The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $70,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience and qualifications.
