About the RoleThis role is designed to support the financial accounting and reporting requirements of certain subsidiaries of Loomis Sayles. The position will report to the Assistant Controller, International for Loomis Sayles. Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate various work streams with counter parties, ensuring that supporting documentation (invoices, wire requests, approvals, etc.) is delivered timely and in accordance with policyAssistant with the monthly close process, including preparing closing, accrual, intercompany, and other entriesPrepare billing for intercompany and affiliate chargesPrepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and P&L trending analysisAssist with preparing internal management financial reporting on a monthly and ad-hoc basisAssist with preparing financial reports and capital requirement calculations for certain subsidiaries to meet regulatory reporting requirementsAssist external auditors with annual audits of Loomis Sayles subsidiariesPrepare P&L forecast and budget of certain subsidiariesAssist with preparation of other accounting deliverables for Loomis Sayles certain subsidiaries2-3 days per week work in the office Qualifications & Education Requirements Bachelors in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification a plus 3 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting firm and/or Corporate Finance, preferably in the Asset Management industry or a Technology operation. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS requirementsTechnologically savvy with MS Excel skills and Infor experience is a plusSelf-starter with ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to adapt in dynamic environment and manage competing prioritiesDemonstrated consistency in meeting deadlines with quality work productEffective communication skills and ability interact with internal and external parties Loomis Sayles Benefit Overview
