We are an upscale Mexican fast-casual restaurant located inside Armature works food hall on Tampa Riverwalk.

Our specialties include our TikTok famous quesatacos, street tacos, burritos and more. Our customers, team, and serving delicious hot food are of utmost importance to us.

Muchachas in Tampa, FL is seeking experienced full-time FOH team members. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and coachable.

Position:

• Front of house cashier / Service line

Compensation:

• $18-24 hourly with tips
• $12 hourly base pay
• The daily tip pool is divided by the total hours worked by team members
• All tips for the week are paid via paycheck

Schedule requirements:

• 35 - 40 hours weekly
• 5 days weekly
• Sunday - Thursday from 7:00am to 3:00pm / 4:00pm to 11:00pm
• Friday - Saturday from 7:00am to 3:00pm / 4:00pm to 12:00am
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

• Hepatitis A vaccination
• Reliable transportation
• Active bank account (paychecks are automatically deposited)

Experience:

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

Duties:

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system
• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
• Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers

Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time and may involve lifting or carrying heavy trays or equipment. Food handling certification is preferred but can be obtained upon hiring.
