General Summary of Position
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Fruit Heights, Utah. In this role, you will be challenged to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to aggressively grow our market share within Independent/Mid-Tier accounts. The ideal candidate must have the ability to identify opportunities and produce results, will be passionate about providing sales support for a world-class manufacturer, and recognizes the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the sales quota within the assigned channel and planning the monthly business including inventory needs, promotions, and product introductions to achieve maximum sales potential
  • Regularly email, call, and visit current and prospective accounts
  • Develop and execute plans for prospecting new account opportunities, implementing strategies, and increasing merchandising/brand awareness
  • Manage/support outside sales reps, provide item/product info, take calls, enter orders, onboarding new accounts/reps, etc.
  • Foster and manage strong business relationships with other sales representatives to drive profitable sales volume within the assigned territory
  • Develop creative sales tools and promotional programs tailored to customers as appropriate within the channel and

MTN OPS’s overall marketing strategies

  • Help manage and participate in trade shows and other events aimed at increasing buyer awareness and knowledge of products
  • Support VP of Sales on projects to improve overall customer experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A passion for the outdoors and MTN OPS
  • 2-5 Years of sales experience in consumer goods
  • Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals
  • Proven ability to simultaneously manage a book of current business and finding new customers/business
  • Proven success in the development of sales plans, excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, verbal/written communication, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills (email and phone)
  • Extraordinary attention to detail, high level of organization, extremely accurate, quick learner and efficient
  • Exceptional product knowledge in the channel, both internal and competitive
  • Solid experience with CRM’s and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Position located in Salt Lake City, Utah

Reporting
-Reports directly to VP of Sales

Compensation

-Salary Bonus (DOE)
-Benefits: Product Discounts, Health, Dental, 401K.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
