The Automation Technician, Chemical Operations will maintain, troubleshoot and repair Fluid Handling Systems (FHS). Autoclaves, Lyophilizers, Isolator Generators, Liquid Nitrogen Systems, Control Rate Freezers and Cryo-Tanks. Incumbent must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a cGMP environment. Good safety and documentation practices are essential to this position.The Automation Technician, Chemical Operations will be responsible for the day to day operation of the systems mentioned above by performing task such as: steam sterilization, chemical batching, documenting system and chemical waste handling. This position also requires participation on teams in order to develop and implement new process and process improvements that are chemical, electrical, and mechanical in nature. The incumbent is expected to cover open shifts which may extend their normal workday and or work weekends as required. The individual must be able to work with their team to provide 24 hours a day 7 days a week support. The incumbent must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in order to execute preventive and corrective maintenance of electrochemical systems. A working knowledge of chemical distribution loops, tanks, pumps, sterilizing filters, valves, instrumentation, PLC and other critical system components.

Other: Minimum 2 years’ experience in an electro-mechanical role
