Mtech is Hiring a Project Manager Near Chico, CA

MTECH Incorporated, manufacturer of the QTAC Fire line of lightweight, portable and durable fire and rescue apparatus for UTV's, ATV's and Trucks is actively looking for a Project Manager to manage our build schedule. The Project Manager will primarily report to the main office however they may also attend trade shows or vendor events. While this position carries the title of Manager, this position has no direct reports and is not a part of the leadership team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the build process for our semi-custom line of Fire and Rescue Apparatus equipment including wildland brush trucks and fire skids. This position will develop and manage the timelines and initiatives to successfully complete our build process on time and within budget. Working closely with the engineering team, the Project Manager will review customer specifications and initiate the sourcing process with any new components or vendors including establishing the business relationship, sourcing documents, drawings or installation guides. This position will manage the build meetings both internally and with the customer. The Project Manager will be a key point of contact with the customer post-sale.

Desired experience includes 3 years of professional project management experience, preferably in the vehicle or automotive markets, be organized and be a problem solver; be able to work independently with minimal guidance and enjoy customer interaction; have working knowledge of Microsoft office software and experience with order entry systems; be customer focused, professional and above all, always be closing.

The ideal candidate has sales and project management experience with equipment or vehicles, team supervision and is looking to grow professionally.

This is a full-time position located in Chico, CA with a fixed compensation package depending on experience and includes medical benefits, vacation, 401k, profit sharing and bonus plans.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
