Job Description: The ADON supervises staff, monitors patients, implements treatments, develops patient care plans for long-term needs, administers medications, follows-up with families and provides the highest quality of care to all residents/patients. It is expected that the ADON will serve as acting DON in their absence. This position requires to be on call to assist floor staff when needed which includes, but not limited to; covering nursing shifts and other staffing needs, provide clinical care in compliance with current federal and state guidelines, and company regulations. Finally, the ADON will be responsible for the Infection Prevention Program for the facility.

Required Qualifications:

● Graduate of an accredited RN/LPN School of Nursing.

● Current RN/LPN Licensure in the State employed.

● Valid CPR Certification.

● Cleared background check per the facility’s state requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

● BSN preferred.

● 6 months experience in long-term care environment preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Provides the highest quality of patient care to facility residents/patients.

● Documents care performed and observations of resident status in the clinical record promptly by utilizing standard clinical documentation guidelines as required by the facility, and local, state and federal rules and regulations.

● Completes all nursing documentation: assessments, orders, progress notes, flowsheets, consents, and any assigned tasks and ensures that said documentation accurately reflects services required by the resident and provided to the residents.

● Participates in medication management to promote optimal safety and effectiveness for residents.

● Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments with residents. Directs and administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
