Role and Responsibilities

The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below:

• Assist the senior-level HVAC technicians.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
• Understand the basic refrigerant cycle, typical components, basic troubleshooting, and typical maintenance procedures.
• Ability to identify HVAC equipment and components of HVAC equipment: Packaged, Split,

WSHP, Chiller, Tower, Pump.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic electro-mechanical devices
• Understand the basics of air distribution systems and how they operate.
• Direct company representative to the customer; communicate with both internal and external customers.
• Inventory parts, materials, and labor per job
• Be responsive to supervisor and dispatcher.
• Complete all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Abide by basic safe work practices.
• Observe, report, and correct unsafe work environments or behaviors.
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Ability to show up on time, ready to work, and in uniform
• Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers. Must alwaysprofessionally represent MSS.
• Must show a proactive can-do attitude.
• Ability to identify and use hand tools
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Must successfully pass a background check.
