MSR - Metro Staffing Resources is Hiring an Administrative support Near Bethesda, MD

Administrative Assistant / Program Support Specialist, Our client, National Institutes of Health, located in Bethesda, MD, needs an Administrative Assistant / Program Support Specialist.

establish and prepare new files and file systems; enter data into electronic files-Provide preparation of documents including travel, timekeeping, work orders, acquisitions, training, mobile device orders, telecommunication orders, etc.

for the Branch for completeness and compliance with policies and procedures-Provide timekeeping duties for staff-Request office supplies, maintains records, photocopies, and prepares shipping requests with government approval-Operate office equipment such as computer / word processor, printer, scanner, copier and fax-Sort and distribute mail-Deliver packages if needed throughout the NIH campus-Enter receiving of goods and services into POTS within 7 days of stamped receiving date -Generate or assist in the preparation of meeting minutes, routine reports, and other office documentation to facilitate effective and efficient office operations, including monitoring deadlines and action items-Maintain work files and related communication in shared files or on the SharePoint site-Prepare and create travel authorizations and vouchers using the current NIH travel system-Create and analyze written documents for dissemination to leadership-Prepare all types of personnel packaged to submit to the administrative office-Excellent Organizational skills-Be able to work effectively in a team setting-Have strong oral and written communication skills-Display very good attention to detail-Assist in branch analysis and data management as requested-Assist PI's and Branch Chief in special projects-Train and work with different statistical software as requested-Assist in Property Management as Needed
