MSI is seeking a Technical Alignment Manager to work out of our Burnsville headquarters to work with our customers in learning and documenting their environment and technology usage and performing standards and alignment reviews and work proactively towards aligning customers that are misaligned against general best practices.
What You Will Do:
  • Understand Technology Alignment objectives, as well as the role and function of internal team members.
  • Perform Onsite Standards and Alignment Reviews.
  • Maintain, update, and phase out assigned Customers Standards templates as technology or a customer environment change.
  • Develop, document, and maintain technical knowledge of assigned customers’ environments.
  • Conduct thorough checking, updating and accuracy of customers information and documentation.
  • Be responsible for upholding best practices and reporting recommendations to the vCIO.
  • Become a valued member of the Standards and Alignment Committee.
  • Develop both Business and Technical acumen with key contacts at Customer sites.
  • Advise and train clients on how to use the Support Desk.
  • Proactively plan, oversee, coordinate, track and run assigned projects tasks.
  • Maintain high positive customer and user satisfaction and relationships.
  • Keep abreast of the development of relevant IT and telecommunication systems, hardware, and software applications within the industry.
  • Liaise with, manage, and advise customers, other consultants, and contractors and attend meetings as required.
  • Perform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
  • Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years plus previous experience in IT administration and/or technical support experience, or equivalent.
  • Computer-related industry certifications in technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Azure, Fortinet, networking, storage, and security.
  • Strong all-round knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware, and software applications.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of network and workstation operating systems, and Microsoft Windows operating system.
  • Demonstrated experience with web and internet technologies.
