PLEASANT LAKE ELEMENTARY

Secretary

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of secretarial, bookkeeping and administrative duties which require a thorough knowledge of all school functions, procedures, building facilities, and applicable district and school rules, regulations and policies.

Exercise considerable discretion in the protection and release of confidential information and in the interpretation and administration of policies and procedures within guidelines set by the administrator.

Responsible for attendance, enrollment and transfer records, maintenance of records for school funds and accounts, monitoring of budget status, and administration of minor first aid and medications to students. CPR , First aid, certifications or willing to get.

Extensive Computer knowledge of various Google programs, PowerSchool knowledge or willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

Recent experience in secretarial position requiring extensive public contact and interaction and a wide variety of secretarial and clerical duties and/or previous experience in public school secretarial work preferred.

Safe Hiring Solutions criminal background including Indiana Department of Child Services index.

Salary: Based on Experience

Start Date: Upon School Board Approval or Superintendent Approval
