A: Responsible to: Director of Transportation

B: Qualifications:

• Knowledge in transportations systems.
• Knowledge of transportation related state laws and driver requirements.
• Must possess basic computer knowledge and application skills,
• Possess excellent human relations skills.

C. Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of routes and assignment of drivers to those routes.
• Supervise all Special needs buses, drivers, and monitors.
• Recruits drivers for training and assist in scheduling driver training classes.
• Schedules substitute drivers and submits appropriate records of drivers to Central Office.
• Plans and schedules in-service activities for transportation personnel.
• Conferring with drivers, parents, and building administrators relative to bus problems.
• Oversee bus scheduling system.
• Maintain records and prepare reports
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Transportation .
