SCHOOL YEAR: 2024-2025
LOCATIONS: Bowdoin Central School (.5 FTE) & Bowdoinham Community School (.5 FTE)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide maximum physical activity time within class periods
- Teach skills and activities that transfer to physical actively outside of class
- Individualized PE programs that provide an alternative to regular PE programming
- Motivate students to be active
- Promote fitness and teach wellness concepts
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Physical Education
- Current State of Maine Teaching Certification PE (# 510)
- A background and or certification in Adaptive PE (#515) desired
- Excellent behavior management skills
