1st Shift - 6:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Friday and overtime on Saturdays as business needs dictate

Starting Pay $28.85/hour - Additional compensation may be available based upon experience

We are looking to hire a Maintenance Lead for our Pittsfield, New Hampshire manufacturing plant. This role will support maintenance technician duties for building and with manufacturing equipment inside and outside of the plant. This is a hands-on role requiring work inside and outside in all weather conditions. Ability to work with hand and power tools, good mechanical and electrical knowledge, and/or willingness to learn the electrical portion, general willingness to learn equipment maintenance and building/facilities trade. Responsibilities:

• Effectively maintain production equipment at the Pittsfield, NH Factory. Utilize machine downtime data to drive an effective preventive maintenance program.
• Direct and oversee sewing machine and cutting production equipment maintenance and repair.
• Provide leadership and mentorship for machine maintenance technicians.
• Assist with machine maintenance and improvement of facilities systems, buildings, and equipment, including learning all aspects of machines and mechanic's position.

• Provide and measure rapid response to machine downtime to ensure downtime is minimized. Stay current with machine maintenance best practices to continuously improve maintenance techniques.
• Build and nurture a world class team through excellent two way communication and engaging associates to meet or exceed performance KPIs.
• Ensure associates are trained to perform job functions.
• Address employees' work related issues, including progressive disciplinary action, if appropriate.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Assist with facility projects as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is in safe operating condition and all safety concerns are immediately reported and addressed.
• Ensure a continuous focus on machine guarding and safety risk reduction during maintenance activity and operator equipment \ facilities use.
• Ensure that all machine guarding meets guidelines and regulations and drive your team to seek and eliminate plant safety risks.
• Help out in other areas of the facility if necessary.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years' mechanical and electrical experience.
• Able to stand, reach, bend, stoop and walk continuously throughout the day.

• Willingness to work in all conditions inside and outside of building and with hand and power equipment/tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel 10-20% to New Hampshire, Maine and possibly OK.
• Willingness to work with Maintenance technicians from our other facilities, both within and outside Globe.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs. occasionally.
• Logical thinker.
• Willing to work overtime as necessary.
• Able to work within a team and independently meeting goals.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals.
• Creative problem-solver.
• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred:

• 3-5 years in a manufacturing lead position.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (able to troubleshoot) on automated equipment and/or willingness to learn.
• Stitching operation and sewing machine maintenance knowledge.
• Able to read schematics.
• Knowledge of driving production to meet KPI's.
