Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Chillicothe, OH

Shift: 2nd / 3rd

Duration: 3-6 months

Pay: 40-60/hr

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains

machinery and mechanical equipment and has the following skills;

o Able to trouble shoot electrical problems from 120v to 480v. This would include identifying

defective contactors, relays, power supplies, limit switches, proximity switches, etc.

o Install, mount, tryout, maintain, and remove all electrical equipment such as, 480-volt

portion of bus systems, control panels, distribution panels, junction boxes, wire ways,

conduit runs, cable and wire switches, operator stations, relays, solenoids, receptacles, etc.

o Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems such as fuses, heaters, motors, relays, AC/DC

motor drives using voltmeter

o Make repairs to Fanuc robotic equipment, such as replacement of defective circuit boards,

sensors, controllers, encoders, or servomotors, experience with use of robot pendant

o Maintain, disassemble, repair, and replace mechanical and hydraulic components (e.g.,

bearings, seals, carriers, etc.) on industrial machinery such as shafts, motors, pumps,

cylinders, valves, gears, couplings, ball screws, coolant systems and filters

o Read and interpret blue prints for the mechanical operation and assembly of conveyor

systems, material handling systems, and other automation.

o Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, vertical lifts, and cranes

o Communicate with other shifts and coworkers to ensure progress of projects or repairs

o Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

o Previous PLC experience a plus

o Ability to perform various preventative and predictive maintenance tasks

o Responsible for keeping a clean work area, tools, and equipment

o Performing all work safely and following LOTO procedures

o Operating robots and performing end of arm tooling repairs and changeovers

o Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

 Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing facility

 Fanuc / Mitsubishi Experience

 Ability to effectively communicate with others

 Team orientated and ability to work independently

 Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices including LOTO, fall protection, and mobile

equipment operation

 Demonstrated good housekeeping practices and 5S principles

Other skills/abilities:

 Strong written and verbal communication skills

 Oral communication: the ability to speak clearly in positive or negative situations.
