Kimley-Horn is Hiring a Payroll Accountant Near Raleigh, NC
Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazines 100 Best Companies to Work For, is looking for a Payroll Accountant to join the corporate team in our Raleigh, NC headquarters. The candidate will be involved in a variety of Payroll functions and will work with employees at all levels across the firm.
This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:- General ledger responsibilities review general ledger exports prior to posting, reconcile payroll related accounts
- Assist in processing semi-monthly payroll and post-payroll tasks
- Assist in processing semi-monthly timesheets and timesheet compliance
- Manage tracking of various payroll deductions and reimbursements
- Verifications of Employment
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- 2 or more years of relevant experience
- Experience with the following is preferred: databases and reporting; payroll software; and multi-state tax (UKG Pro preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including intermediate skills with Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills and client service mentality
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
- High degree of professionalism with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
- Excellent organization, detail-orientation, and follow-through skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision
- Ability and willingness to learn new software applications
