```Duties```
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the supervision of a chef or cook
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Help with food storage and inventory management
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist in setting up and stocking stations for meal service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and peeling vegetables
- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes

```Skills```
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Basic knife skills for food preparation
