Conduct tissue micro-dissection and histology slide scanning for tissue biopsies.

Process and biobank clinical and pre-clinical samples, including FFPE/frozen human and animal tissue laser microdissection (training will be provided)

Ensure the generation of high-quality data through rigorous quality control processes.

Provide support across all laboratory activities.

Assist project teams in Pharma and Clinical Research Projects by conducting experiments and contributing to the development of study plans and reports.

Carry out general laboratory duties, such as preparing laboratory reagents, samples for protein quantitation, technical reports, summaries, and protocols, data analysis, and maintaining laboratory notebooks.

Maintain departmental equipment and reagents daily according to SOPs, and provide support for mProbe’s technology and related publications

Qualification and Experience Requirements

· BS degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields with 1-2 years experience preferred

· Hands on experience with laser microdissection preferred

· Strong and collaborative work ethic. Must be a self-starter - individual needs to be persistent in achieving mProbe’s scientific and business objectives

· Ability to follow SOPs

· Ability to work closely with others in a small team setting

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

This position requires the employee to work in the laboratory which creates the potential for occupational exposure to biological or chemical hazards
