Overview:

Join a global leader in digital reality solutions as a Senior Software Engineer and play a crucial role in the development of autonomous vehicle technology. As part of the Autonomous Systems Team, you'll work on projects ranging from localization to perception, and contribute to the deployment of software to enable full utilization of autonomous vehicle hardware. This position offers the chance to be part of a small, collaborative team with a mission to simplify and advance vehicle technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop C autonomous vehicle software
• Integrate vehicle control code with a proprietary autonomy stack
• Streamline software testing infrastructure and contribute to customer documentation
• Develop vehicle fault response strategies and software
• Support team code reviews and refine applications for latency, security, and user experience
• Demonstrate solutions through documentation and support field testing and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in an engineering discipline
• 7-12 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in C software development for embedded Linux environments
• Experience with system software design, threading, and pub/sub communications
• Knowledge of unit testing

• Ability to mentor and coach individual engineers

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink code generation for embedded Linux environments
