INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER: CONTRACTED

Location: 2301 W Ashton Boulevard, Lehi, UT 84043 / Remote

Status: Part-Time / Non-Exempt

Hours: 20-28 Hours / Week

Pay / Salary: $30.00 / Hour

BENEFITS:

Part-time employees averaging 15 hours / week over 3 months of employment could be eligible for our MTECH tuition waiver.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of the Instructional Designer include, but are not limited to:

• Creating a schedule for the project, reporting regularly, making adjustments with approval, and completing by the established deadline
• Integrating textbook material into Canvas courses using LTIs and other needed technologies

• Writing and editing documents to a professional standard
• Managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of instructional design and the design process
• Familiarity with articulate, h5p and other instructional design tools
• Creating curriculum for adult learners in the classroom and lab
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Creating canvas courses

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Graduation from high school, plus, 2 years of specialized training or former job experience in a similar role, an associates degree
• -OR- an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of automotive technology and/or diesel technology is preferred, but not required
