Woodstock Elementary has an anticipated opening for a full-time Physical Education Teacher for the 2024 2025 school year. The teacher will teach five days a week at Woodstock Elementary School grades K-4. The primary role of the PE Teacher is to promote physical wellness and health based on Vermont adopted physical fitness standards. The PE teacher will collaborate with unified arts teachers and district health, wellness, and physical education professionals to promote wellness across the school and lifelong fitness habits in our students.

Woodstock Elementary School serves 250 children in grades preK-4. Each class in grades K-4 has a 45 minute PE class two times per week. We value physical education and the importance it plays in the health and development of children. We successfully use Positive Behavior Intervention Systems and the Responsive Classroom model for promoting a safe and respectful environment. The right candidate will have a love for children and physical education and will be motivated to work hard as part of a team.
