Woodstock Union High School and Middle School is seeking an energetic Health and Physical Educator to fill a Middle School position in our Wellness program. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the national standards of health and physical education and the ability to integrate standards from both disciplines into one core class called wellness, using a student-centered approach. Woodstock Union High School Middle School is a learning community that values student engagement and learning. Teachers at our school are given time to collaborate and experiment to make learning meaningful to their students. Therefore, applicants should be eager to collaborate with grade-level and departmental teams. The successful applicant will understand the unique developmental and social-emotional needs of middle school learners and be able to differentiate learning experiences accordingly.
