Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Compliance Coordinator to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY: A Compliance Coordinator uses critical thinking, communication, and relationship building to build
interdepartmental relationships and programs. The Compliance Coordinator oversees projects
and/or programs with significant interdependencies and communicates across multiple channels
including Compliance, Informatics, Clinical, Quality, Safety and Operations teams to define an
initiative’s scope, schedule, projects and committees. Compliance Coordinators have ownership
from initiation to development of deliverables through deployment of the product, including turnover
to the appropriate systems support and user support organizations. As a recognized leader,
Compliance Coordinators may also be sought after to be a resource and coach other staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage Projects using software, creating Project and Resource Plans, status updates, and other project artifacts.
2. Single accountable party to define, plan, orchestrate, and deliver a given strategic initiative.
3. Ensures end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit.
4. Directs large-scale, complex projects often involving cross-functional teams, multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners.
5. Accountable for one or more initiatives including compliance, and quality.
6. Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost, and quality parameters.
7. Validates projects and reporting and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures.
8. Develops communication plans and interfaces to execute responsibilities.
9. Leads a continuous risk management, quality and compliance process to identify and assess risks, and develop and manage mitigation measures to minimize exposure to projects and the other services.
10. Serves as a subject matter expert, routinely briefs key leaders in the organization on different aspects of assigned initiatives.
11. Represents the project in various project governance and inter-department forums.
12. Facilitates key project meetings.
13. Defines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan.
14. Publishes periodic project status reports.
15. Proposes recommendations, adjustments and process improvements to achieve success..

Qualifications


Education/Certification: : College graduate – Preferred. PMP Preferred. Other - 4 years relevant Project Management or relevant field experience in lieu of degree.

Experience: 3 years relevant project management experience - required. Healthcare experience - preferred. Quality Assurance or Compliance and Regulator experience - preferred.

Language/Communication: Communication skills using speech and writing. Must be able to effectively communicate technical requirements and solutions to both technical and nontechnical users.

Mental Capabilities: Strong problem solving and ability to prioritize, multitask, work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
