Large Childcare Center in Downtown Denver is looking for experienced and fully qualified assistant teacher for our Toddler classrooms to become part of our amazing school and team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is an 8:00-5:00 or 8:30-5:30 hours, with an hour lunch.

Support and collaborate with the lead teacher and co-assistant working with children 14 months to 36 months. Understanding the rules and regulations that are required for this age group.

Support in safety and responsive caregiving around the general routines of the classroom (meals, diapering/toilet training, routine play indoors and outdoors).

Participate and expand on curriculum learning activities in the toddler classroom.

Communicate with the parents about their child/ren in the classroom in person and through our application, Brightwheel.

Communicate clearly with team members about the classroom and expectations, working together to maintain and improve our environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma and,

Early Childhood Teacher certificate or a PDIS 3.0 level 1 or higher (or working toward this with at least one or more courses and at least 2 years experience)

At least 1 year experience in a toddler classroom

Comfortable with technology, email, applications for communication

(Wage dependant on PDIS level)

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
