Do you enjoy working with your hands, problem solving and being part of a great time? Come join our team as a Maintenance Technician at Mountain States Property Management.

At MSPM, we believe in creating a positive and collaborative work environment. As a Maintenance Tech you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to upkeep our Mill Creek property. We are looking for an individual that enjoys a challenge, has great attention to detail and has previous maintenance experience.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Tech is responsible to keep properties current and functional by providing consistent and ongoing maintenance. This position requires constant manual labor and the ability to pinpoint specific area that require attention and addressing them immediately.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide garbage clean-up for assigned properties
  • Paint and patching of walls as needed
  • Address water issues at properties requiring such attention
  • Mow property lawns weekly
  • Clean up leaves as needed
  • Maintain snow removal providing safe and clear pathways for residents
  • Answer and respond to unforeseen calls regarding issues that occur at properties
  • Help to turn units
  • Snow removal
  • Assist with additional needs that Mountain States Property Management may require to help residents in anyway needed

Required Skills:

  • General maintenance skills
  • Heavy machine operation
  • Hand and power tool operation
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to read blue prints
  • Must be willing to be on call

Experience and Education:

  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, painting, sprinkler repair, and carpentry
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Twisting, bending, stooping, walking, reaching over your head
  • Carry up to 50 lbs
  • Being able to work in in-climate weather; rain, heat, cold, wind, snow
